It’s been a crazy ride, but I think we’re almost geared up for the benefit show we’re doing next Saturday, May 14th. There’s a motorcycle ride taking place all day that will end at the Gold Brick Tavern on the east side of town. We’ll be playing outside in the parking lot starting at 7:00p. Brooke Roe will be performing before us at 5:00p.
Last night was a fun rehearsal because we had some guest players hanging out with us. Our lead guitar player is in a hand cast right now, so Geoff Sullivan and Jeff Humbert dropped in to lend a hand. Geoff will be on stage with us most of the gig while Jeff will be running sound and stepping up on stage a few times throughout the show. What a way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo last night … lots of booze and rock ‘n’ roll, preppin’ for a gig! 
We have one more rehearsal next week and then it’s show time on Saturday, May 14, 2011. See you then! The Gold Brick Tavern is located at 8016 East 46th Street, in Lawrence on the east side of Indy, near Franklin Road. Drop by May 14th for a great time!
