It’s been a few months since we unleashed the “clean” version of You Know What I Mean on the world. Now, we’d like to give you an opportunity to download this song for FREE. Yes, that’s right. You can download it and listen to it whenever you’d like on your computer, on your iPod or wherever you enjoy MP3 song files. And, if you like it, let us know. Or, better yet, come out and see us perform the “DIRTY” version live at one of our shows.

You Know What I Mean (Clean)

Yes, you read that correctly. HeadFirst will be blastin’ the Moose this Saturday night up in Lebanon. Sounds like Jeff’s brand of fun, doesn’t it? Anyway, there will be a Chili Cook Off starting around 4:00 and the band will start around 8:00.

We have been told that this event is open to the public, so if you happen to live in the area (or don’t mind the drive), please drop in.

Halloween just got a little scarier. Yeah, that’s right. HeadFirst is playing a ghoulish gig on Saturday night at McGilvery’s Irish Pub. We’ll start around 9:00 PM and go until the fun stops. Come in your costume. Uh, wait. That sounds disgusting. Just be sure to wear SOMETHING. We would hate to see anyone arrested for public indecency. Well, unless you’re female. Then, maybe we would like to see that.

Anyway, the band will be jammin’ all night long and we can’t wait to see all the fun Halloween costumes. If you’re looking for a place to hang out, hear some fun tunes and party with your friends on Halloween night … THIS is it!

The band took some new photos during a rehearsal break last night. This is one of the “winning” shots. Let us know what you think.

Hey, guess what? HeadFirst recently recorded an original song and we would like to share a mix of it with you! Yes, that’s right, a REAL song that we actually wrote and performed … just like a REAL band!

The title of the song is You Know What I Mean. You may have heard us perform it at one of our gigs. We are still adding some final touches to the studio mix, but wanted to give everyone a taste right now. When the song is officially completed, we will make it available for download and/or purchase. We are hoping this will occur before we play at the Dog House later this month. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.

In the meantime, cruise on over to our MySpace page and check out this version of You Know What I Mean. It should be the first tune you hear when visiting our page. We think it sounds pretty good and hope you’ll agree.
